The 2025 Nordic Game Conference dedicated an entire day to a policy summit exploring topics including EU policy developments, AI in game production, and the growing challenge of discoverability.


Dr. Rebecca Harris from the University of Greater Manchester presented the GREAT project as part of the policy summit lineup. The following day, the gaming consortium reconvened for a shared showcase of ongoing Horizon 2020 projects. This included presentations from Jude Ower (PlanetPlay), Rebecca Harris, and representatives from SGI. The session evolved into a collaborative discussion on shared learnings and future opportunities.


PlanetPlay also met locally with studios and international attendees, as well as Playing for the Planet representatives—exploring new games, strengthening relationships and uncovering emerging titles with environmental themes.
